5. REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY
Paid Consultations
Consultation fees are payable in advance.
Cancellation by Client
• More than 48 hours’ notice: Full refund or rescheduling.
• Less than 48 hours’ notice: 50% refund.
• Failure to attend (No-show): No refund.
Cancellation by Cork Study Connect
Clients will receive:
• A full refund; or
• The option to reschedule.
Educational Consultancy Packages
Profile Assessment Fee (€250)
Non-refundable once the assessment has commenced.
Application and Visa Services
Fees are non-refundable once work has commenced, including:
• Document reviews
• Application preparation
• Statement of Purpose preparation
• Visa support services
Language School and University Fees
Tuition fees paid directly to educational institutions are subject to the institution’s own refund policies.
Cork Study Connect is not responsible for third-party refund decisions.
International Camps and Educational Programmes
Deposit
A non-refundable deposit of €500 is required to secure a place.
Cancellation More Than 60 Days Before Departure
Refund of payments made, excluding the deposit.Cancellation Between 30 and 60 Days Before Departure
50% refund of programme fees paid.Cancellation Less Than 30 Days Before Departure
No refund unless exceptional circumstances apply.
Visa Refusal
In the event of a visa refusal:
• Third-party costs already incurred are non-refundable.
• Service fees for work already completed are non-refundable.
• Any refundable amounts will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Force Majeure
Cork Study Connect shall not be liable for cancellations, delays or losses arising from circumstances beyond our control, including:
• Natural disasters
• Pandemics
• Government restrictions
• Airline disruptions
• Political unrest
• Acts of God
Governing Law
These policies are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising from the use of our website or services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
